Please allow me to introduce myself, my name is David Cohen of David’s Beautiful People. With more than 50 years as a dedicated, hands on salon owner I welcome you to my home to meet my family. Personally I specialize in precision hair cutting and design and am a member of the prestigious Intercoiffure and PBA. For many years I have traveled to incredible destinations, Italy, Germany, France and England looking for talented stylist to join our team here at David’s. Along the way I have met, worked with and trained with the finest hairdressing groups in the world. With such acquaintances as Sasoon, Trevor Sorbie and Tony and Guy, I bring you the team I have put together here at David’s salon for you our client….
Enrique is the newest member of our team. He comes to us with a passion for everything hair. Enrique’s personal flair and and enthusiasm for the craft of styling shows in every client he works with. He also loves competing in hair shows and doing photo shoots to show off his craft. Fashion forward creative cutting and colouring are his strong points.
Martin has more than 25 years of top-notch international training with Sassoon, Rusk, Wella, and John Frida. He hails from England and brings an international flair to his clientele specializing in high end and corrective colouring. He currently commutes in to David’s from Miami, yes Miami to keep DC fresh and fabulous.
Monica is an internationally-trained hair extensionist and designer. She has worked with clients at David’s for more then 21 years. Monica leads our team of eight extensionists, using the latest hair friendly lengthening and thickening systems to provide remarkable results. As a reliable and dedicated professional she adds hair colour and highlighting as well as special occasion hairdressing to the mix.
Nicole specializes in innovative haircutting techniques, and brings a fresh approach to her work at David’s. She has been a creative stylist for nearly 6 years, with ongoing education with Wella and Goldwell. She is well versed in fine European hair extension and is fashion forward, with creative cutting and colouring techniques.
Maggie is quite possibly the most traveled hairdresser we have at David’s. She has literally traveled the globe in the pursuit of fine hairdressing. Maggie has more than 35 years of experience in hair design, colour and in educating others. She is the go-to person for dramatic styling for special events. You can see much of her work published in many International trade publications.
Anne is a cultural all around hair designer with educational training from as far away as Asia and Australia. Her portfolio of perfected services includes Japanese hair straightening, Brazilian hair smoothing, human hair extensions, personalized hair colouring and creative hair designing for everyday wear and special events.
Riva is a Brazilian born and trained stylist who we recently welcomed to David’s. He comes with more then 17 years of creative and energetic hair designing. His many talents include hair competitions, Brazilian hair smoothing, customized colour and highlighting, and beautiful cutting and finishing techniques.
Val is the backbone of the David’s Stylist team, and has been with the salon for over 41 years. She is the Head Colourist and has learned from some of the finest brands in the industry, including Wella and Goldwell. She hails from Germany with a strong work ethic and a passion for her craft attending more educational venues then one can count.
Linda is a seasoned hair color artist with more then 35 years of experience. She has an extensive education with L’Oreal, Goldwell and Glemby International specializing in corrective colouring. With strengths in all aspects of color application she can achieve natural looking highlights, high lift blonding, grey coverage along with hair designing.
Adelia is a Brazilian-born hair designer with a strong devotion to the art of hair dressing. She is the resident expert on Brazilian Hair Smoothing systems and special event hairdressing. Along with her refined colour and hair dressing skills she is a talented hair extensionist and full service body waxing professional since 1990.
Scarlett, an internationally trained stylist from Italy, brings 16 years of expertise in Baliage hair painting to David’s, along with all colour and highlighting techniques. Brazilian smoothing treatments, custom cutting, human hair extensions and special event hairdressing services are also among her many talents.
Emilia, now with us for more then 24 years, is a well rounded stylist. She has traveled to many show venues and brings back new colour, styling and cutting ideas. She also offers special event hair styling and human hair extensions along with years of experience with Glemby International and Elizabeth Arden to name a few.
Karen’s extensive salon background includes experience as a Goldwell colour director and educator. She’s attended hundreds of hair show venues to keep her skills sharp. With more then 41 years under her belt she has perfected the skill of colour correction and also does Brazilian hair smoothing treatments, alternative hair color and human hair extensions.
Rick joined our team more then 2 years ago, and brings a well rounded perspective to all hairdressing. As a former owner in many different salons he has trained Internationally with some of the best, L’oreal, Antena, Trevor Sorbie, Tony and Guy and Sassoon. He enjoys transformations offering Brazilian smoothing treatments and human hair extensions.
Ana has been with David’s for more then 37 years. A Cuban educated native with a heart of gold, she offers comfortable manicures, pedicures and body waxing. She is always a helping hand here at David’s and will always help you with your nail and waxing related needs.
