“Normally, I would never give myself bangs because my hair is so hard to control. I used to just comb my hair and let it air dry since it has a nice wave. Zero maintenance. It didn’t look bad, but it sort of resembled the Julia Roberts look of the 90’s. After chopping off two inches and copying Keira’s angled bangs, my hair looks a hundred times better and only takes 5-15 minutes longer to style, depending on whether or not I involved the curling iron. My hair stylist Mark at David’s Beautiful People in Rockville, MD, is talented enough to get the curl all over with a small round brush and a hair dryer, no flat iron or curling iron needed. I, however, am not that talented. But a nice 2-inch curling iron can quickly add some smooth volume when I need it.”
